Pin Ups
Falcons & Cardinals

I’m a huge NFL fan, and my team is The Atlanta Falcons. Been a fan since the ’97 pre-season after I moved to Atlanta. They opened in ’98 on my wedding day, and topped off the season with their only trip to the superbowl. That season was also my first NFL game. They’ve given me plenty of ups n downs since then & I couldn’t have asked for a better season than their re-birth in 2008.
I did this quicky cartoon pinup to help rouse up the fan support on the Falcons message boards before our Wildcard playoff game vs the St. Louis Cardinals. Like all the Falcon fans I thought it was a gimme and that I’d do a pinup with one of our cheerleaders and the rival mascot for each game til the superbowl… but yeah, it didn’t work out that way.
Since we got beat, this was the only one I did.
Once the 2009 season starts rolling I hope to find the time to do some more!!

Miss Behavin’

Commissioned by an Airforce Officer for his wife. It was a great pleasure to create this pinup! I’m currently at work on a 2nd pinup in this series… yup, he came back, God bless him
This one for me represented another jump in ability. The reflective surface of the dress along with the massive curls in the hair really pushed me to the edge of what I was capable of. The final print is 30″x20″ on fine art paper and looks amazing. Below is a detail of the face. This is how detailed the images look up close when printed on paper.

Vintage Vixens

This was a quick logo I was commissioned to produce for the Vintage Vixens Pinup Calendar. This went on their cards & letterhead along with other various promotional materials.
The art director requested the Jessica Rabbit look… below was my original version based on the classic bikini girl concept first pitched to me.

Which do you like??
Sheer Midnight

Sheer Midnight was the digital piece for me where everything started to ‘click’. I was studying under another artist and learned a great deal about the process. After this one I went back into the previous 2 and reworked a good bit to bring them up to this level. One of my faves!

Oh Snap! This was my very first pinup! Not too bad considering I had never done a serious illustration fully in Photoshop.

This was my modern take on the classic pinup ‘Sport’ model. Put-Put is a sport, right?
